Now, the newest thing is golf training dust.  With golf training dust, you simply take the small can and spray the face of your club that you want to observe.  After your swing, you'll see the impact spot of the ball left on the face of the club.  There are hundreds of applications per can and the residue may be wiped off of your club with a cloth.
